Condition in brilliance. This fortifying polishing treatment magnifies shine and unteases tangles without making hair dull in any way. Now go dazzle them.
One of my favorite things about this conditioner is the high shine I can get from it, without weighing down my hair.
HOW TO USE
Lather in lasting luster and elegant polish. This moisturizing shampoo highlights the chicest sheen for the ultimate illumination. So Brilliant.
If you want extra shine in your hair, this is the shampoo for you! I mean, who wouldn't want extra shine?!
HOW TO USE
A super-rich indulgence. This crème de la crème deep-hydrating masque transforms even the driest, most over-it hair, leaving it supremely soft and irresistibly touchable.
This is an amazing masque. I recommend it to my thicker hair clients to actually use as a conditioner every time they wash it's also great as a once a week treatment for my finer hair clients. It's great for everyone!
HOW TO USE
What are some products I can’t live without?
I feel this is something that can change ALL the time for me, but Ill try and keep it down to my basics:
First would be my Brow Definer from Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer, paired with Benefits Brow Zing in Medium.
Next would be my Ardell fake lashes, Yes I wear fake lashes almost everyday. On my days with a more ‘simple’ look I ALWAYS go for my Ardell Demi Wispes. On my days with a more done up look, I love my Flutter Intoxication lashes.
Now get ready for the eye roll, lets talk lips. I would have to say my Kylie matte lip in KoKo K or Poise K. I know, I know, roll your eyes. But I love the colors of these and I LOVE that it last ALL day. Which is HUGE for me. My second fav would be Kat Von D’s Everlasting Liquid Lipstick Lolita. It last pretty good, not as good as the Kylie but I’m defiantly obsessed with the color and have been for a couple years now.
I also love my eyeliner and this last year I really fell in love with my Tarte Double Take liner. It has two different liners in one, One for waterline/smudge or a liquid liner side. One thing I’m always looking for in my liner is for it to be as black as possible. I definitely feel that is why this will be my liner of choice for a while.
Foundation is something I can’t live without but that is a constant revolving door. I’m always on the search for a new and better foundations. But this is also always changing because so is my skin and its needs. But my constant has been my concealer which is Tarte’s Shape Tape. I love the coverage of this product and I love how nice it blends.
Oribe spared nothing in crafting this restorative daily moisturizer. Hydrating polymers revive youthful shine for lustrous, healthy locks and detangle for ease of combing throughout the day. Conditioner just got luxurious. Enjoy.
This is an amazing conditioner, one that could be used everyday. It is very luxurious and will make your hair feel amazing.
HOW TO USE
Recently we received a blog reader's question about my brows.
What do you use?
I personally have blonde eyebrows and I started filling them in when I was in high school. The first product I feel in love with was Benefit's Brow Zing. The was my ride or die brow product for years! I actually still use it. I do think there are better products out there and that are easier to use. But because I have used this product for a least 15 years now, its my comfort zone product.
The last couple of years I’ve played with different products. The line I find best at the moment is Anastasia Beverly Hills. They have a large number of brow products and each one is great, it just depends on the look and color your going for. I’m loving their Brow Definer, which I put on first, then I fill over it with the powder from my Benefit Brow Zing. I still put my Brow Zing powder over it, because I just find the color of the powder is a perfect match for me. I no longer use the wax that comes in the compact, just the powder.
Every morning should start with a little indulgence, such as this rich daily cleanser, custom-blended from the most exclusive ingredients to silken, detangle and protect. Prepare your hair for glamour.
This is a great shampoo for everyone! You really can't go wrong with it. Sometimes I forget about signature, but I remember why I love it every time I use it!
HOW TO USE
Lather, indulge, rinse.
Rich, high-performance cleanser
Stay bright with our restorative silkening treatment specially formulated for blondes. This lightweight concentrate repairs and prevents damage, brittleness and split ends leaving hair ultra-soft while violet pigments tone to keep brassiness at bay.
I love using this treatment on my blonde hair. My hair doesn't like being blonde but this treatment helps it stay looking healthy and it also helps me fighting my well water. It's a must for my blonde lovers.
HOW TO USE
After shampooing, mist generously through clean, damp hair. Leave on for one to three minutes. Rinse. Use once a week in place of a conditioner or as needed.
Repairs damaged, porous blonde hair
Instantly brightens and tones brassiness
Oribe Signature Complex (Watermelon, Lychee and Edelweiss Flower Extracts) defends hair from oxidative stress, photoaging and the deterioration of natural keratin all while protecting from the drying, damaging and color-depleting effects of the elements.
Foundations are probably my favorite beauty product so I thought what better topic for my first EB Elite Artistry blog post than just that. I love trying new ones, drugstore and high-end and I love the even canvas they create to add on concealer, contour, highlight, and blush. I have normal-to-oily skin but I do not tend to love super matte foundations. I tend to gravitate to more natural finish foundations. For reference I am around a NW20/NC25 in MAC foundations and light beige in Tarte foundations.
My long time favorite foundation was the Make Up For Ever Face and Body foundation. Unfortunately, this foundation was discontinued last year and was replaced with the Water Blend Face and Body Foundation. While I don’t find the newer formula to be as good as the original I still do find myself reaching for this foundation on a regular basis. I love this foundation for days when you know you will be taking pictures, want a light feeling foundation, or don’t need a ton of coverage. This foundation looks beautiful in photos. Whenever I see a picture of myself and think my skin looks great it’s almost always when I had been wearing this foundation. It’s not a high coverage/buildable foundation, but I find that it evens my skin tone and I can go in with concealer on the areas that I need more coverage (spot concealing and under the eyes- I will talk about my faves in my next post). One downside to this foundation is that it is not the longest wearing product (typically 6-8 hours on me), which may not be a great option for a full work day or a long night out. I am in shade R-250- beige nude. This product is sold at Sephora, $43.00 USD.
Make Up For Ever HD is another one of my favorite foundations. It is another liquid foundation that comes in a variety of shades. This foundation looks beautiful on the skin and has more coverage than the water foundation. I find that this foundation is buildable and I tend to use two pumps for my entire face. This foundation lasts around 10 hours on my skin in the colder months- probably around 8 hours in the summer when my skin is a little oilier. This foundation makes it through my workdays still looking great on the skin with just a couple blots throughout the day. I don’t find that this cakes or separates when I blot/powder throughout the day. This foundation also looks great in photos and on camera- hence HD in the name. I am in shade Y225- Marble. This product is sold at Sephora, $43.00 USD.
For a drugstore option I have been loving Maybelline Matte & Poreless foundation for the past few months. This product is around $10 at the drugstore and is a great alternative to high-end foundations that can be pricey- especially if worn on an everyday basis. This foundation is full coverage, leans towards a more matte finish (but not matte to the point where you look lifeless), and stays on the skin all day. I can wear this to work for a 10-12 hour shift and it still looks great on the skin at the end of the day. This foundation also looks great in photos but I would recommend the other two over this one if you know you will be taking a ton of photos. This product is sold at all drugstores/Ulta, typically between $8-12 USD depending on the store.
I always set all three of these foundations with either a translucent powder or a light powder foundation (I will talk about my faves in an upcoming post), as well as a setting spray (also coming in a blog post).
