We kicked off our wedding season last Saturday at a private ranch in Petaluma CA. Jenny and I both had a feeling that this was going to be a fun wedding and we were right. As we began unpacking our surplus of supplies a woman with one of the brightest smiles ever entered the room. I glanced up quickly and then did a double take. I knew that face, those eyes, that smile but my mind could not understand how one of our favorite bridesmaids from the previous year, Nisa, was once again in Petaluma. Nisa was just as excited to see us, which made for quite the reunion. It turns out that she attended college with both Annie (2016 EB Bride) and Kelsey (2017 EB Bride). She doesn’t live in the area but she traveled here for both weddings. Nisa has good energy, is fun and cares about her brides. I remember leaving Annie’s wedding last year and either Jenny or I saying, “Every wedding needs a girl like that as a bridesmaid. We need a Nisa at every wedding!” Well we may not have her at every wedding, but we were lucky enough to once again enjoy working with her at Kelsey’s wedding. Nisa chose completely opposite looks for each wedding, which was an added bonus. At Annie’s wedding I did a smokey makeup using a warm burgundy palette, Jenny styled her long thick hair into an updo and she wore a short blue dress. For Kelsey’s wedding Nisa chose to stay with a dramatic makeup but we used a cool palette of purples, Jenny styled her hair down with part pulled back in a top knot and her dress was a long flowing Show Me Your Mumu dress in Silver Sage. Nisa looked gorgeous in both looks and it is a fun comparison of our work. Nisa we cannot wait to style you for your next event!
We will be doing a full blog on Kelsey’s wedding as well in the near future. Products:

The #KylieCosmetics Lip Kit is your secret weapon to create the perfect 'Kylie Lip.' Each Lip Kit comes with a Matte Liquid Lipstick and matching Lip Liner. Lip Liner This ultra-long wearing Lip Liner has a creamy texture that glides across the lips for a very easy and comfortable application. The Lip Liner sharpens easily in most standard sized sharpeners - just make sure your sharpener is not dull! Matte Liquid Lipstick The Matte Liquid Lipstick has high intensity pigment for an instant bold matte lip. The extremely long wearing lipstick contains moisturizing ingredients for a comfortable, emollient and silky feel that does not dry out your lips. Stephanie: It took me a minute to try these lip kits because I’m not gonna lie…I’m not a Jenner/Kardashian fan. I try to avoid the whole family brand. However, after hearing some reviews I gave it a shot and was instantly making regular purchases to build my wedding makeup kit. No joke these kits truly last all day. I do bite my lower lip when I’m thinking or stressed so I have noticed that I need to reapply the middle of my lip. But, I know a lot of girls wearing Kylie and they rarely reapply. I always use the lip liner because I prefer the defined finish this gives to my lips. The liner goes on smoothly, but sharpening these pencils to a fine point can be difficult. I have a brand new MAC sharpener that seems to shred these pencils. After reading the product description I’m going to buy another sharpener and see if this makes a difference. The lipstick is a high intensity pigment as described, but I disagree on the emollient and silky feel in the description. This product is very drying to the lips. I often get chapped lips from it and need to exfoliate to get rid of the dry skin. Overall, I love the longevity and pigment and definitely recommend this product. Jenny reminded me about the KKW Collection. I really like the feel of these crème lipsticks. The do not stay on like the Kylie Lip Kit, however, I find myself enjoying the neutral palette and feel in my everyday social life. For work, its Kylie by far. Jenny: I love the long wear, the colors and the matte finish. I know I can count on it for both personal use and professional use on my brides because it lasts all day. I can put it on at 6 am, eat/drink and never reapply. That’s the type of products I need for my brides! The only downfall is that I hate how drying they are to my lips. I also have tried the KKW (Kim Kardashian West Crème Lipsticks) which I found to be nice but didn’t last and got all over my face. Products:

At Ethereal Beauty Elite Artistry we keep the lines of communication open and try to answer all of your questions thoroughly and quickly. We receive new client inquiries through several sources such as our personal website (etherealbeautyeliteartistry.com), current clients, personal referrals, websites such as Wedding Wire, social media, websites that have client reviews and phone calls to Mockingbird Heights A Salon (707) 775-3355. A lot of clients prefer the ease of emailing (ebeliteartistry@yahoo.com) to discuss their needs while others enjoy the personal connection of a phone call. We try to accommodate your preferred way of communication. However, email is a wonderful way for our clients to refer back to any communications they had with us. Brides can open their email and see all of their questions answered, appointment times and wedding day timelines. Most inquiries are communicated via email and we make every attempt to answer as quickly as possible. Most brides include their wedding date, venue and number of women receiving makeup and hair in their initial inquiry. Some brides are unsure on the exact numbers for hair and makeup, but estimate the number. This information is valuable to EB Elite Artistry because we are able to determine our availability for your wedding. If we are able to accommodate your needs we communicate our availability and direct you to our website for our pricing and contract. I also like to stress in the initial email that we are open to any questions and encourage brides to stay in touch regarding personal needs and questions. Our website is extensive, but there are always individual questions that can arise. Ethereal Beauty Elite Artistry has over 25 years of combined experience and knowledge within the wedding industry. Our focus is hair and makeup, however, we also can also recommend excellent vendors to assist you with other elements of your wedding. Once a client decides we are fit for their wedding they return a completed contract to us with deposit. The deposit holds your wedding date and is applied to your wedding day services. The next step is booking your bridal preview and setting a timeline for your wedding. We are here for you throughout the whole process. Yesterday we honored the women who helped us become the women we are today. Happy Mother's Day to Cathy, June, Charlene and Diane. We are grateful for your continuous support and love.
Also, we send our love out to our gorgeous babies (human and fur) who made us mommies. Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there. Products

Skin that is thoroughly hydrated has a healthier barrier so it is better equipped to absorb your skincare efficiently for long-lasting results. Luckily, Image Skincare this season has released luxurious sheet masks that will do just that!
Image released the Biomolecular Hydrating Recovery Mask and the Biomolecular anti-aging radiance mask!!!! Stephanie: I really liked both of the sheet masks but the first time I used it I couldn’t get it to stick to my face. I decided to go soak in the tub and relax while my face was being hydrated. The second time I used the mask I left the paper on the back and really pressed the mask onto my face. I removed the paper once I felt it was in place and adhering to my face. The mask stayed in place and my face felt wonderful. My skin was hydrated and felt like it had a protective barrier in place to keep it firm and hydrated. There is a small learning curve on getting them to stay in place, but they are worth the trouble. Jenny: I did not have any problems with my mask. But I did put it on and get in the bathtub. My face felt great afterward! I felt moisturized and had a glow. Five Features: Product Info taken from Image Magazine No skin irritation: The gel mask derived from botanical polysaccharides has a unique skin protein like structure and has been shown to provide less irritation than other sheet masks. Superior Skin Adhesion and hydration: The patented technology forms a 3-dimensional network gel structure, allowing the mask to breathe and trap moisture, helping active ingredients to penetrate deeper into the skin. Lifting Effect: The high elastic gel offers a lifting effect to the skin, helping to firm and revitalize. Leaves skin with a luminous glow: Provides a beautiful luminous glow to the skin due to the intense moisturizing effect. Easy to use: Transparent mask is almost invisible when applied. Integrated with top and bottom sheets to help ease of application.
